Do you have a picture of these looking down at them on a 360? All of your pictures published have been pretty well straight on. I am curiuos to see a different perspective.
Thank you for the picture! I talked to Jay today and he is sending me a set for review. I will let you all know my evaluation.
I had my hi flow cats and tips with valves installed by Fabspeed yesterday. They look and sound great. Big improvement over stock.
Here are a few more pics. Fabspeed F430 tips with valves and race cats save you 16lbs off the back of the car to increase handling!!! Not to mention the looks and power gains
the cats sure but for the tips can't one just buy the chrome sleeves for $300/400 which do the same job with OEM ?
Well I got them installed, here are the pictures. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well you could actually buy the tips for less than that, however the labor is a different story. I am sure you noticed my pictures and what it takes to remove the tips. The whole ass end of the car has to come off. Once you have the car apart you could cut the old tips off of the stock pipes, but from there it gets more difficult. In order to get the tips in the right position, you would have to reinstall the bumper and then tack weld the tips in place where you want them. Once the tips are tacked, you would have to remove the bumper again to weld them on. I would remove the pipes from the muffler and weld them on a bench so not to damage the car with electrical current from the welding, and not to get any weld spatter on the car. Once they are welded, you would reinstall the pipes, and then the bumper. In the end I suppose you could save a few bucks, but you would have to find a shop you could trust to do this amount of work, and for that matter one that would want to. I have all the means to do this myself and I chose the Fabspeeds because they wee already done, my time is worth more to me than what it would take to make my own. My opinion of course, take it for what it is worth. Someone asked what kind of Muffler I have, it's a Tubi.
Your car and tips look fabulous! Do they stick out farther than the stock tips? If so, the usual condensation drip may miss the lower bumper
