Hello all. After much debate I've ecided not to go with an ECU upgrade as no one seems to post before and after dynos. Has anyone use the Fabspeed high flow cats? They say it reduces back pressure by 70%, which may decrease the bottom end? Any thoughts on using these or how to increase hp & torque on a 360 with proof and/or experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have no experience with the fabspeed cats but have installed Larini sport cats on my 360 and felt better bottom AND top end. Sorry, no dyno in my area for factual comparison but my buttmeter was duly impressed.
    Better sound as well.

Here are the HyperFlow dyno numbers on a Stradale:

This should give you a general idea regarding highflow cats in a 360. Whether you go with Fabspeed or somebody else's cats, ask around. Lots of Fchatters have been down this road and can offer solid advice.

I have hyper flow cats on my 360, along with a Tubi. The hyper flow cats are - in my opinion - the finest out there. I checked into the other brands, but felt like Troy over at Hyper flow really produced the only Ferrari worthy cats on the market as near as I could see - others may disagree, which is fine. If you speak with Troy directly, he can answer all your questions. The hyper flow cats also come with a smog certificate for street use (they have gone through some sort of the ceritifcation process from what I could see). I don't know if others have.

Here are some videos of my car with the tubi and cats if you want to hear it:

The hyper flow cats are very well made and are about half the weight of the stock cats. Between the Tubi and hyper flow cats, I believe it saves 29.75 lbs on the car. Troy at hyper flow provides excellent customer service as well. I can't say enough good things about them - plus they look absolutely stunning.

The hyper flow cats make any exhaust system louder of course. I have them with a tubi as mentioned and the car sounds great. When it's going down the road, it sounds like a jet turbine. There is a little resonance around 2800 to 3000 RPM's, but it's very minor. Overall, the car sounds amazing. You can't really tell from the videos, but in person, it's great. I love to drive it and hear the exhaust :)

The cats (per my conversation with Troy and as shown above by that dyno sheet) provide only about 8HP at peak RPM, but provide more like 15 or 20HP in the mid range where you use it most. Those figures are just off the top of my head based on what I recall from speaking with Troy, but you get the general idea.

Hope that helps. Like I say, they are a really well made product and look right at home on the 360.

Thanks Gents! Is there any downside (check engine lights, loss of power in the low end, etc?).
