    Hey Guys

I bought a set of new Fabspeed Headers from a seller (not fabspeed/retailer) and received the kit recently …

everything is there - both headers, heat shields, hardware… the only problem is one of the end tubes is damaged … Pls see the pics below

Is this something easily fixed at an exhaust shop / or will working on this cause metal fatigue once hot gasses start running through it ?

the kit is complete and new, so I’m debating on whether to fix and use, fix and sell or just return back to seller if not worth it?

    suggestions ??

That wouldn’t be a difficult fix. You could do it or an exhaust shop/metal fabrication shop could fix it.

    Hey OP,

I'd be more than happy to have that damaged side come into HQ and we can do what we can to get it straightened out. I will shoot you a PM!

While it's a great PR thing for Fabspeed to offer the repair, I think if you drive it down to a local exhaust shop, it will cost you $20 and 10 minutes. They knock it out a bit, insert a pipe spreader and a couple of turns of the wrench later you are done.

Packing it back up and shipping it to Fabspeed would cost $100 (no insurance) and $300 with insurance.

The seller should have packed it better.
