Did the research, knowing from the beginning based on hard learned lessons that the safest, best solution would be a one stop shop. Found some great solutions out there. I appreciate all the input I've received over the last month.

I'm only a few hours from Fabspeed. Jeremy offered to come pick up the 360. We're going to grand tour, the full performance package, headers, exhaust, cats, ECU, TCU, all verified on the dyno. It was sad to see her go. Even my 5yr old daughter was sad, asked where Papa's rocket car was going.

Should have pictures as the work progresses....

That's Jeremy from Fabspeed by the way, not me.

congrats on a great choice! I also have been pondering sending my baby off for fabspeed headers & a ECU reflash.. I may call them Monday...

seems a great way to get rid of the damn pre-cats/

Yeah, terrifying. I would have waited a while, but not with that time bomb ticking. And if you're gonna do it, might as well do it all at once with one fully accountable shop and verified results.

    Beautiful TDF spider!

Do you know if your headers come with the air injection rails like factory, or can be fitted with them? The problem for us in California is having to pass smog inspection and having the rails would make them look OEM.

Please post back once all the work is done!

Update: I found these Tubi headers on the VividRacing site. They really look OEM but do they have the OEM frailty? Anyone try these? Of course, they are a lot more expensive than the Fabspeeds, but about 1/2 the cost of OEM replacements (and no pre-cats).

I believe I read somewhere Fabspeed can weld the air rails in if you so desire...

Mine won't have 'em, but they can be fitted with them. I don't think the difference price is worth buying anything other than fabspeed. I wouldn't want to have to worry about the quality.

Just got my scud back from them yesterday.. Had headers, straight pipes and a new x-pipe system that replaces the stock muffler.. We did bmc filters as well as ecu tune for vp ms109 race fuel.. These guys know their sh*t and I am beyond happy on what they did!
    The final dyno numbers: 503.13rwhp!!!
Baseline was just under 420 with stock components and 93 octane!!

My thanks to Jeremy and all the Fabspeed staff for making this happen!

Here is a video of the car:

Retractable license plate holder. Nobody ever asks that if you're standing above it in a parking lot. It'll get me out of a ticket eventually, and is hardly noticable if you're not eye level.

Well.....We made it home safe with your F360 Bob!! It was a pleaseure meeting you and your family. I appreciate you welcoming my family and I into your house. I will be strapping the car to the dyno first thing Monday morning to get some good baseline #'s then the fun starts!!! I will keep everybody posted on the progress along the way with pictures, dynos and videos.

For those of you asking about the air injection rails: We offer the Fabspeed headers with or without the secondary air injection rails. If you guys have any questions please feel free to give me a call or shoot me over an email. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

    Rick,
How is the car?? I know that I have been crazy busy and have not had a chance to talk to you since you took delivery of the Scud. I hope that we were able to put a big smile on your face : ) I will call you in the am to catch up.....I am whooped and ready for bed.

Jeremy, have you done that full exhaust, BMC, and ecu package on a std 430 F1 with a 93 octane tune? Just wondering what the numbers would be.

My pleasure, buddy. You have a lovely family. Your daughter is just precious. Should have gotten a picture with Ben. Would have been better if he'd been more of a gentleman and gladly shared the bigwheel :) Sorry you had traffic on the way down. On a drive that distance, traffic is all the difference between a walk in the park and an aggravating, white knuckled quest. It was a pleasure to spell you guys for a few before the trip back.

    Jim,
Here is a link to MyPhillyLawyer's post from a couple month's back. We installed the Fabspeed Headers, EVOMSit ECU reflash, Fabspeed Carbon Airbox covers w/BMC filters and Fabspeed Tips with valves.

    http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276401&highlight=myphillylawyer

Here is a link to a sound clip and explanation video of his car as well

I am working with EVOMSit as we speak on a more aggressive TCU F1 shifting program like that in the Scuderia. When we recently had a Scud in our shop we were able to read out the stock file from the TCU and will be able to offer this program for regular F430 owners looking for more aggressive and faster shifting : )

Thanks for the reply Jeremy. Great gains. Wonder if there's any more in tune with a set of your high flow cats and a Capristo level 3.

Well....I started today by giving Bob's F360 a complete wash/detail inside and out (which included power washing and degreasing the motor so it is nice and clean when we start upgrading the exhaust tomorrow.

Unfortunately my wife has my camera today and I had to quickly get the car loaded back on the trailer before I could get my Blackberry to snap some pics.....( we just got hit with a terrible thunderstorm : ( I will post some pics in the morning at the shop of her all cleaned up!

    Hi Jeremy,
How much power we should get from the complete package?
    I mean;
    Headers
    Test pipes
    Exhaust
    Air filters and covers
    Euc's re-flash

The real whp from the complete package.

    Thanks!

Tubi are built much better than OEM and are second to none. People simply go Fabspeed and others because of the cost savings.

I know that with our complete Fabspeed Performance Package which includes; Headers, 200 Cell Tri-Metallic Cats, Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust W/quad tips, Carbon Fiber Airbox W/BMC filters and EVOMSit ECU flash we see around 360rwhp and 268rwtq. If you were running test pipes instead of cats you will probably be around 370 rwhp.
