Those 2 parts are the only parts on the car? Do you sell cats that won’t require a tune/void warranty?
Adam, Thanks for the reply, None of our systems void warranties, and our 200Cel HJS Sport Cats do not require any tuning! On top of that, we guarantee no CEL!
Your system sounds great, but charging 3x the price to have sports cats, which don’t require a tune/void warranty make the cost unreasonable. It goes from circa 6k to 9k+ sounds great though
Not sure where you are getting your information, but I'm happy to clear up your confusion. Yes, Catalytic Converters are made out of precious metals (Rhodium, Palatium, ETC) The costs of these raw materials has skyrocketed in the past 9 months to make CATs 15x more valuable than gold per weight. This means that throughout the industry, prices have risen. Hence why the Bypass pipes you mentioned are far less expensive (Actually 1/2 price, not the 2.5x you mentioned) Feel free to read some more about it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/africa/catalytic-converter-theft-south-africa-rhodium/2021/03/03/dc288192-777d-11eb-9489-8f7dacd51e75_story.html Hope this helps to explain some things! Feel free to reach out if you have more questions.
Unless you get your sports cats which cost 3 x more than the cats you link above, you need to tune the 488, which voids the warranty.
The Cats linked above are our Sport Cats. The only other option is the Cat Bypass Pipe which contains NO Cat and is half the price for that reason. Hence my prior statement. If you run Cat Bypass Pipes, you WILL need a tune because there is no catalytic converter. Happy to answer any other questions you have.
Makes sense. Just annoying you need to pay so much more to not have a tune and not void warranty. Is the Ghost system above valved or not?
