From a blurb that came through my inbox just tonight. An AI lock screen app that says it is specifically aimed at women: "This app displays a variety of beautifully designed, highly relevant, and curated content on your phones locked home screen while an advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) will begin to learn from your likes/dislikes to provide more relevant content." translation - we're gonna take everything we can from the content of your phone - contacts, calendar, browsing habits, whatever - and use it to deliver tailored advertising to your lock screen so you HAVE to look at our ads every time you pick up your phone.
I removed myself from Facebook years ago. However, just recently I noticed my account was active again. Not sure how or why, but there it was. I started receiving Facebook notification emails. So I deactivated it again just this week. I hate, hate, hate Facebook. It's nothing but an information mining site. The more you post, the more other people know about you. Just dump it and be well.
This is the only reasonable post in this thread. Visiting someone else's website is no different than walking into someone's store. If you don't want to be tracked, don't use their systems. Regardless, no one cares about your "data" beyond ad targeting and similar derivative commercial uses.
