Just to confirm, the rear track on a 89-early 92 is 50 mm less then a late 92-95 car because of the offset on the wheel itself.. not because of the suspension..correct?

I can't confirm the exact total, but yes, the rear wheels definitely had a different offset. I have a set of both in my garage, identical other than offset. The latter also required longer lug bolts.

The post-Speciaè 348s have the F355 suspension geometry. This was done to raise the rear roll height and soften up the rear end for more grip and more predictable handling.

This difference is that the upper rear chassis A-Arm pickup point was moved downward by 20-25mm (forgot exactly which).
