Is there a really good indoor car cover?

The problem with the factory covers is that dust just comes right through the fabric. It looks really cool with it's all red and satin sheen with the logo and the mirror cutouts and the little F430 on the drivers mirror but I swear this summer when I would get to drive the car (I traveled a bit and I know my wife and kids leave the doors open more than when I am home), I would peel the cover and I was amazed at how much dust had accumulated. Also, there was a fine red lint from the cover mixed in with the dust.

I use a leaf blower to knock down the worst of the dust and I guess I could use my California Duster but I really wonder about scratching. So I had to wash a perfectly clean car again before I could drive it!

Somebody has to make a soft flannel cover, perfect for garage storage that will hold out the dust. I don't care about weather protection but it should be breathable. I always take it for a quick 10 minute drive after I wash it to blow out the little nooks but it still should breathe so anything left can evaporate.

I've done a search here and I've seen all the Covercraft products and I've searched Griots etc.

What do all of you do?

I live in a very dusty community in Phoenix and the Dustop fabric from Covercraft works VERY well for the exact purpose you describe.

Made in the U.S., by Kimberly-Clark, this flannel-like fabric is a 4-layer non-woven composite, ultrasonically laminated to provide a high degree of dust protection during inside storage, while remaining breathable and soft against any fine paint finish. Maximum dust protection, yet it's lighter and easier to handle, compared to traditional woven fabrics.

Soft But Strong Outer Layers - The two top layers are constructed of a polypropylene / polyethylene composite spunbond. These layers take advantage of the best features of both polymers: the superior softness of polyethylene, with the strength and stability of polypropylene.
Dust Barrier - A melt-blown polypropylene layer serves as a barrier to most dust, dirt and pollution. Dustop's multi-layer construction provides substantially better dust protection when compared to traditional woven, single layer fabrics.
Softest, Paint Protecting Inner Layer - The high-loft polypropylene / polyethylene inner layer pampers and protects the vehicle's finish. (These are the same materials designed by Kimberly-Clark for some of their softest baby diaper applications, and if it's soft enough for a baby's skin you know it's soft against the vehicle finish.)

Cairo is a very dusty city with all the desert and pollution. I bought a Covercraft car cover for my F430. Excellent fabric. Very soft in the inside and heavy and tight on the outside. When travelling and the car is in the garage covered, a week or two weeks later, she is still as clean as I had left her. Bought it from AutoAnything.
