Factory Delivery

I am curious to know how many members here have take delivery of their cars at the Factory in Maranello? I am second generation Ferrari owner and we have been though some amazing cars and very proud to say that my only Ferrari was my fathers first one. In 2003 my father took delivery of his 360 Spider at the factory and spent the next month driving around Italy and Switzerland. In May he is going back to do it again with a F430 Spider. The 360 was the first time he did this however he has proclaimed to our dealership that he will never buy another new Ferrari and not go pick it up in Italy as it was one of the most amazing experiences of his life. So has anyone else here done this? I know that it is a ridiculously long process to go through as my father was originally 7th on the list for the 360 from before it was even officially announced and about the same for the F430, but still curious.

When my finances are healthy enough to purchase a new Ferrari I fully intend on doing it myself. I have been to the factory twice with my father while on vacation in Italy and it truly is the mecca of motorsports and should be visited by all Ferrari owners, if only to pay homage!
