    Hi,

Not sure how many people own a factory OEM gated F430, but if you do I have 2 favors to ask you..

1.Does your car start with the clutch pedal not depressed? I mean is there a possibility of starting the car in gear and have it jump forward by mistake.

I just wonder what is the role of the clutch pedal switch, it does not seem to be doing anything if I connect it or not (maybe ECU's react to it, not sure? )

2.Any chance you have a picture or can take a snap of the routing of your shift cables down the back; from the cabin exit to the gearbox (complete view)?

    Many thanks in advance

Mine was a UK F430. Thankfully I did not need to depress the clutch to start. That came later over here and is annoying.

Thank you those are great if you enlarge them! So that's what that bracket on the oil pump is for... I kept wondering.

Trev360 has the full input on what the switch does. I had read (no idea where) that its interaction increases RPMs in certain driving scenarios.

I would prefer if we could prevent the starter without clutch in. Just for service trips.

Image Unavailable, Please Login I'm looking for that metal bracket that's in this pic. I can't seem to find it in any diagrams. If anyone has one or finds it please post
