so i was at one auto show or another, and i pass a booth where a new Ferrari or prototype is being unveiled and Ken Okuyama, the former Pininfarina designer (and instructor at Art Center College of Design) is handing out prints on heavy art paper of the car, not sure which model (he designed two Ferrari production cars and one Maserati). Of course tI lost that, but my question is: in the age of computer created renderings (I am not sure they could even be called renderings) is Ferrari still handing out this artwork, or is it a rarer and rarer occurence? I don't remember the size of the one I was gifted, maybe 20" x 30." I made a 11" x 17" copy but the larger the paper the more chance of it being damaged so I wouldn't want to ever tackle the original size. So my question is: are there collectors of these new model introduction promo prints or are the prints too intermittingly distributed to make it worth collecting? I fond some here on some new model but there's no Ferrari logo so I can't tell if this was a Ferrari handout or not?

Yes, Ferrari still produce and give out design sketches/lithographs for new model introductions, usually distributed at dealer events.
They used to send owners personalised lithographs of their cars as part of the buying process, but I don’t know if that still continues.

There are collectors out there for these, but the big problem is usually shipping and storing them without them getting damaged.

The bottom sketch from Ken Okuyama, is the Kode 57 barchetta.

Oh, oh, don't let Pininfarina see what you said about the Okuyama sketch. He was on their payroll when he designed that show car for their client Ferrari. It was called the Rosso I am glad when he appropriated much of the Zeitgeist (soul?) of it for a car bearing his own name. I've only met a few designers who were lucky enough to design a car bearing their name, not even Jerry Wiegert got to name a Vector after him.
