    Hi all, I'm currently buying up any factory press photos or photocards in black and white for my extensive historical collection. Similar to the photos you see here...some of them will have the Pininfarina stamps on' the back and some from other companies the factory used in 50s & 60s for press images (ex: Peter Coltrin, Publifoto) If you have any factory images for sale, I'd like to know about them!     Oh wow hey thanks for those who have contacted me, I am trying to amass the largest collection of these factory photos anywhere. I also have factory photocards from late 40s and 50s. If you have any of the photocards, I will consider them all!

    Just wanted to bump this thread, I've purchased MANY new additions to my collection since I've posted this thread, thank you all so much for your offerings. :) Does anyone else have some factory press photos available? I prefer photos from the 50s & 60s but will consider any factory authorized images.

    Now this is a real head scratcher.What is a Factory authorized photograph? Every photograph has one and only one original negative. Few of these, such as originals taken by the factory for promotions, can be called "factory authorized".In recent years photographers have protected their negs and prints carefully.However little of this happened in "the old days".So some very nice reprints from either the original negative(rarely) or an early print are out there.Many of these have popped up on the internet. They are difficult to find. Many are part of collections to be found only by going thru the entire collection. High end dealers offer very well done reproductions of an original print and in rare cases from an original negative. The REVs institute in Florida has thousands of photographs many from important collections such as the Collier. As a member one can order copies but they are not cheap. I have spent many long hours combing thru the internet and finding nice reproductions of some well known and not so well known photographs for just a few $s each. Good luck. tongascrew
