    I bought aftermarket Ferrari shields for my car a few months ago. They are the ones from England on eBay. The car is kept inside 99% of the time so I was disappointed when I realized they were starting to fade. This was a couple weeks ago and tonight they just looked terribly faded.
    So, I decided to take them off. I heated the shields to get the adhesive hot with my heat gun. Imagine my surprise when the fading disappeared! I'm not sure why but they are cooled off now and look like new again. So if anyone has some fading shields try heating them a little. It worked on mine.

    There is your answer! you have to keep the car outside in the sun, maybe that is why mine have not faded :)

    It has to do when the enamel paint was put on the shields, probably were'nt left to cure or dry sufficiently.
