Considering only about 500 were brought to the U.S. I can't see how there would be a "glut" on the market.

I think more people are making the jump to the 360, which hit the high $80's recently (well worn, yes, but you still get to claim "Ferrari ownership").

I think $48k is a great price for a Spider. Your car looks nice. I think there is enough discount built in the price for a new owner to contemplate a fresh 30K service and still come out OK.

92 tb? Post a pic, we have the same car (model and year).
Curious to see your seats. Do they have the seperate seat cushion?
Most of the 92's I have seen do not have the seperate cushion

Original poster, I just want to let you know that your F40 style Speciale Kevlar seats ALONE in your 348 Spider are worth many, many thousands of dollars.

New from the factory, they are worth $7500 each.

I think many people on this thread have lowballed the 348 Spider.

The 348 Spider is a very saleable car, and it sells for $10-20K more than a 348 tb or ts. Every time.

Thanks guys for your input, yes I do realize how expensive the seats are and how very fortunate I am to have them along with, x-ost performance exhaust, 360 chromed wheels, updated pedals and shifter, the list goes on and on thanks to jagbuff he truely is a car nut.
I agree that the spiders are being lowballed in the market place in general, the reason I feel is simple supply and demand ( too many on the market at this moment in time). I feel quite confident that the market fot the spider will remain strong due to the fact that only 556 were introduced to the U.S market.
Up here in Canada the 348 market is very strong I have yet to see a -spider- for sale under $75k (in reasonable condition of course). Sure you can say were lucky to have such a good market up here but I feel we deserve it considering our 4 MONTHS OF WINTER ......sigh........
I will send pics as soon as I can as the auto is still being pampered in Texas till spring time thanks to jagbuff.

Oh boy oh boy I can't wait and yes I will dry the hell out of it YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAA.

p.s JFOR what part of canada are you in?

Thanks for the nice comments Mike. The embarassing part is I spend so much time working on them that I hardly drive them (except the 456). The Spider has been a fun project but with the TS's tensioner gone and the SM still at the office after almost a year, it was time to make a cut - the spider was a logical though sad choice. While some might frown at its "dubious" history, the current condition and work that I have put into it more than makes up for it, and the price is fair. So many cars out there claim to have 10K miles but look like they have 50K, I would rather have it the other way around and have the true history even if it might turn off many buyers. I think that Roberto can drive it many miles and still be on top dollarwise, also, if he needs a belt service, he can always sell one of the seats to cover the expense ;)
