http://autosport.usa.ebizautos.com/detail.aspx?iid=994522 Has "high" miles. I like the standard tranny on the street. The pics really do not do titaneo justice. I'm thinking 190K.
I have almost the exact same car in F1 shift. Mine is an '06 and only had 72 miles on it when I got it. When I bought mine a month ago, cars with its specs were going for $259K+. I think prices have steadied or may have even softened a bit, but you can use that as a baseline. Someone on here had come up with a number for the "depreciation" per 1,000 miles, I can't remember what the amount was though. The colors are outstanding and are stunning in person. From the pictures, it appears that the one you're considering even has the same titanium contrast stitching inside. We get lots of looks when we're driving and when it's parked. I had a guy in a Porsche follow me for about 10 miles a few weeks ago and he stopped and chatted when we had to go to the bank. All in all, the price seems good and the color is the best of the F430's (in my jaded opinion). Good luck with your decision. Steve P.S. pics of my F430 are on my website at www.cullenaz.com, if you are interested.
Whoops, didn't catch that it doesn't have shields. You can add them, there's another thread about that right now in the 360/430 forum. Not sure of the quality of them and/or fitment. I actually passed on a titanio grigio in San Diego because it didn't have the factory shields (ended up getting mine from a dealer in NY), but that was me. I wanted as much factory stock stuff as possible and I plan on keeping the car that way. Steve
If you can get for $190,000 I will be amazed. High mileage does not reduce the value of the car by that much.
BTW, I would seriously doubt you can get the car for $190K. The listed price is not out of sync with the market.
I'd say around $220K. Shields can't be added as they are recessed into the fender but I guess decals could.
What an embarrassment for Ferrari to hear that a 2005 430 with 5,900 miles on it, is considered a high mileage car. That's only 3K miles per year. Why can my SUV do 30K per year w/o a hitch when 3K/yr on a Ferrari is represented as almost crippling?
Hi miles at 3000 km per year??? The horor of it all...that someone would dare do something as crazy as that. Chris please tell us all that your car has under 500 miles per year! The tit colour looks great...if you can get it anywhere close to 200,000...buy it, but please...don't drive it when you get it. It gives Ferrari drivers such a bad image
I would say you should love it for the way it is, without any shields. I wouldnt order them, because I enjoy the cleaner look...
Agreed, the mileage isn't terribly high in this case either. Selling it retail from a Authorized Ferrari Dealer this is a $220K car.
220K, not worth it. Two years old and 6K, still over original MSRP? No, I'm not a fool. Back to the GT3 list.
Easy, there, my friend...how does wanting to buy a 5k mile ferrari at still OVER MSRP make this guy "not a REAL" buyer?...I say more power to him if he can buy it at that price..doesn't seem that far off considering the mileage and options... i don't think you have to pay stupid amounts of money for a ferrari to be a real buyer...some of the unscrupulous dealers try to tell you that your only cool if you pay over market price for your car. You don't happen to work for a Ferrari dealer, do you?.. ..and why should he pay retail if he doesn't have to?..if the selling party is willing to sell this 5k mile car ..at the END of the summer with not much driving time left in the season for this price..it seems reasonable to me... Now if it was a 200 mile car or something, it would be worth more...
With this being only Aug 8th, I'd hardly call that the end of the summer. Just making a point herre. I too think the price is insanely low. Maybe somebody died in it or something? :-/
Perhaps my eyesight is going but color looks like silver (titanium) and not dark enough for grigio Titanio. I would think 200K is fair market price for 6 spd-no shields and 6kmi.
Of course it sold for that price. I find it interesting that folks continue to be surprised when an F430 is sold well over list. That is market. I would be a bit wary if someone were selling one for $199k or anything near that.
Masterlu was told it was sold, he, afaik, was *not* told how much it sold *for* Aren't you guys are making assumptions here?
I see how this works now. Pretty much anyone who answers a price check has a vested interest in these cars not depreciating. Of course if you are one who endlessly sucked-up to your authorized dealer, you got one for msrp. But for some scmuck like me trying to break into this exclusive club, I should pay a premium for a used one. Every time I think I'm going to do this, something like this comes up and totally turns me off. Last time it was the dealer flip game that I became educated on.
