I'm looking at an 05 blk/blk coupe with 8000 miles that has had two owners. F1, painted calipers, hi-fi. A few small rock chips but overall a very clean car.

What would be a fair price to pay?

Just purchased: 2005 f430 Coupe, F1, Titanium/Gray, HiFi CD changer, electric seats, Shields, Gray calipers, leather upholstery for roof/top, 3M bra, extended powercube warranty to 4/09, - 3,100 miles. 1 owner car, close to mint condition. I paid 188k from a NY area porsche dealer.

Thats seems like a good deal. The best I can do on the one I'm looking at is 195. Would I be paying too much?

not for nothing...but on Cars.Com, searching for 2005 F430 with < 10k miles, the range of prices for the 5 least expensively priced is: 192.9 - 198.2. So, 195 does NOT seem to be out of line.

Is there any value to buying from a Ferrari dealer so you can get in on ordering a new F car? If so, what is the right premium vs. buying from a non-F dealer?

I purchased an '05 F1 coupe, Black with Beige, Power Daytona seats with inserts and piping, leather shelf and roof, upper and lower carbon, hi-fi with sub (waste by the way), clear bra, shields, red calipers, with 8k miles on it in April for $195,000.00
Your numbers seem right in line.

I'm seeing a lot of 430's with 5k plus miles. Seems like people realy drive these cars. Most 02-04 360's I looked at had less than 5k miles. At first I thought 8k miles on an 05 was a lt but seems most 430 owners actully drive then on a regular basis!

Have you have any mechanical issue? Anything I should watch out for when buying a 43 with 8k miles?

I bought a high mile (22k) Red Tan coupe with carbon fiber and ceramics for 169k. After spending the cash to bring it up to perfect and a 2 year extended power cube warranty I'm into it for 185k. Your deal sound fine to me.

What is the difference with MY 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 and the price spread?

I'm on the market for a F430 F1 with Sport Seats and CCB. Sport Seats were available in 2005 only. 2008 seem to be $45k higher priced than 2005 with under 5,000 miles. 2006 about $10k over 2005, and 2007 $30k over 2005, just the information I have from several cars I have been tracking.

As long as the PPI checks out fine and the car is well taken care of, then it should be a good purchase. There's nothing wrong with buying a higher mileage F car. The more it's properly broken in, the better the car will perform. Or so I hear anyway. Good luck in your search. Best

Factory Racing Seats aka Sport Seats were also available for MY06. Selling prices are not only determined by MY but also, MSRP, mileage, condition, service/history. Not uncommon for an early MY to have a higher market value then a later MY based on these particulars.

Don't count on it, buying a single Ferrari doesn't guaranty anything.
