What is a fair price for a 2005 6-speed manual Coupe with 8000 miles, with all of the fixings in desireable colors? Car appears to be in very good to excellent shape. The guy's asking price seems to me to be exhorbitant (in the $80's) and I'd like to know what a realistic value is for the car.

    Thanks in advance.

A guy is coming to look at my '05 Maserati Cambiocorsa Coupe in the morning. It has just under 3k miles, is a 1 owner car that is packed with options, and I'm asking $65,000. The original sticker price on it was $106,349.

Most others I've seen for sale are priced slightly higher, although I've seen a cheaper one, but it had triple the milage mine has. I've seen some '04s for a bit cheaper than the $65k I'm asking too, but they were all as a result of having higher miles and/or being 1 year older.

$80k+ is too high for the car you described IMO. Based on what I've seen, I would estimate it's worth to be in the mid 60s range. I would say low 60s, but since you mentioned it was the perfect car in terms of it's specs, that has to account for something.

Glad I saw this. I just looked at an 05 CC Coupe this evening and it seemed like a pretty good deal, asking 64k and willing to work with me. It has almost 11k miles on it and is in pretty good shape, little ding in the interior but that's all I noted. It drove well although a hesitation on the 1-2 shift was a little disconcerting...the guy said I probably wasn't agressive enough.

The one thing I had a problem with was I swear I could smell the clutch when we pulled in. I'm thinking I keep looking.

I am a wholesaler and I just had a 2005 Coupe Cambio with the Vintage Package with 8,000 miles that I owned for around $55,000. I sold it for $58,000. That being said, a 6-speed manual, depending on colors and options and if it is being sold by an authorized dealer should retail for no more than $57,000-$59,000. Any other questions? Just ask. Good luck.
