Been running falkens (fk451?) on my 308 for some time, 2 sets total. Great tires, the rears last about 14000 miles. Am now switching to hookdan RS2 for something different, and falken doesn’t make my size for the rear of the 308 245/45/16

Ran Falkens through late 80s and all 90s. Felt good, lasted just fine on the highway. Spirited driving occasionally. Southern California back country. Over 130 now and then. Ran 2 full sets of tires. Fronts lasted 30,000 miles, 40,000 miles on rear. Car is 246 GT, wheels are oversize Gottis. 205/55 VR 16 tires on 7.5" wide wheels in front. 225/50 VR 16 tires on 8" wide wheels in rear. Falken was hard to get around 2000 so tried Yokohama, then Kumho. Yokohama OK but noisier. Kumho have been hard to keep balanced. Will go back to Falken when time to change. Easier to get now.
Good tire for a driver. Does everything at a reasonable price.

Had a set of Falkens that lasted about 3 summers, great tires. Getting a set of Azenis RT-615's on this weekend (Grassroots racing magazine #1 auto-x tire) and looking very forward to it!

jsut had my hookdan rs2 tires installed onthe 308 - great tire. my old falkens had the car pulling to right and crooked steering wheel, wheel alignment couldnt correct the issue. the new hookdans now do not pull and my steering wheel is straight (note, did not re allign). the alignment shop that did the original alignment with falkens said that the falken tires were nortorious for this, and now i believe them.

damn, I wished that I would have known about the Falken crooked wheel issue. Just bought a pair for the front and I have that issue. Crooked wheel, pulls a lil to the left even with an alignment. Looks like I'll have to put on my backup Pilot Sport's on my daily.

I ran Falken Azenis for track events & SCCA Auto X in my Integra, great low cost tire but only lasted about 10,000 miles.
