Only problem with the Ghost is that you can have a solid used Phantom for the same cost as a new Ghost.. There's also some lease specials on the 09 Phantoms now.
To be honest, after seeing both side by side ,I prefer the Ghost anyway. More practical, better dynamics, better for self driving, more practical for real life use (ever tried to park a Phantom in one of the public garages Downtown?),equally luxurious and comfortable. Less "in your face",thus creating a significantly less amount of negative or even hostile reaction from fellow motorists (as it happens when you drive a Phantom). Phantom fills the average garage from door to the wall, can't walk around it without opening the door first.
Damn! I thought I saw you!!! I've only met you once and I forget faces easily, but I thought it was you. Chances are, I'm the only teenager going to Rolls Royce events past 8pm on a school night.
By the way, that's a typo. I meant "car" not "card." I agree, it looks fantastic. Much more of a driver's car then the Phantom. I love the Ghost headlights so much more than the Phantom's. It's a really sleek design with a lot of cool gadgets on the inside too.
Spotted yesterday: Yellow 360, red 360, red TR, grey 599, red 330, Ford GT, Ford GT40 (two), bunch of Bentleys and 2 Batmobiles. ...in Las Vegas. Yeah baby!

About that batmobile... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=139025945&postcount=4 You should bid on it!
Didn't bid on anything. Watched people bid some ridiculous prices for American Iron. I thought the recession had adjusted that market, but apparently not. Over 100k for some old Plymouth. Puhhleaze. I didnt really expect this, but Las Vegas is an exotics paradise. Went to two museums today and saw Ferraris I have never seen in my life neither at Cavallino, nor Maranello nor any FCA Nationals. Unbelievably rare stuff. Plus all "the usual".
(see image below) What two museums did you go to, and what did you see that was so amazing? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some I had to fotograph the descriptions as I have never seen them (only in books about the fifties). One was a 500 (?). One was a 412 concept car, one of only 2 made. And then there was the LC2, which just about made my day/week/month. Never imagined I'd ever see that in person. Museums were the Classics Car Collections (claims to be the worlds largest, probably not true, but definitely huge) in the Imperial Palace and the Exotics Collection in the Palazzo. Used to be a Lambo shop, but now has all top of the line exotics.
I was watching Barrett Jackson the other day and saw a 2000 360 Modena w/ rare sunroof option and something like 12,000 miles go for $77,000. That seemed like a steal to me but I don't pretend to know the 360 market. Was this a steal?
Probably was, the car was very nice and the sunroof installed by the factory and made it therefore very unique. Here a pic. I also saw a 308 priced at 100k. Made me feel really rich. Image Unavailable, Please Login
$77K plus 10% buyers premium, putting it at about $85K. Not bad if it was recently serviced. A lot of earlier 360 coupes have been sinking in price, well below $100K. Of course, if you bought the car, and tried to register it in Crook County, you'd get to spend another, what? 10% ? for the sales tax.... lots of fun!
Saw a Red 360 Spider in the pouring rain yesterday at 10:45am!! Waiting at the light where ogden ave forks off to go in front of all the auto dealerships in Naperville.
Also saw a red Scuderia in downtown naperville a few weeks back. I had my windows down but I still barely heard the car. It was very quiet...hmm...
Some punks were pulling up at the red light next to "my" 360 yelling "One of those Fiero body kits, huh!". As the light changed, I floored the loud pedal and watched them become tiny dots in the rearview mirror.
at Bentley Gold Coast (walked by it) they have two scuds' that are awesome. One is white with a grey stripe and then the have my dream car/Color. I think its the Pozzi Blue with gold stripe tan interior and gold wheels/Yellow Calipers. Amazing!! I believe the car was first sold in San Fran as I saw it posted here in the Scud thread. Very cool, go check it out!
