Time to say goodbye to summer and start a new thread. Is it a coincidence that so many events are lined up for the next few weeks? Given our A/Cs I think not.
Saw 2 Lambos and a 360 spyder South on 294 yesterday and a 328 Northbound. Also a troup of fat fenders heading on a cruise.
A red 430 spider headed North on Michigan ave close to John Hancock. Saw a yellow G spyder on the same road and a green GT3 RS headed north on Lakeshore Dr from the top of John Hancock. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure I want to call them exotics, but certainly rare sights: An AC Cobra and a VW Karman convertible on LSD yesterday.
A Porsche 550 parked outside of Bandito Barney's in East Dundee last night. Presumably a replica (I couldn't tell), but very cool nonetheless.
Saw a gold S1 XKE on LSD earlier. Also watched a red 430 coupe being driven veerrryyy slowly around whatever the frontage road is (East Lake Shore?) just by the S curve. Yesterday morning I drove with a dark blue 360 coupe south along I94. I was in the orange C6. Eventually I think he got off on the Ohio St exit too. Sorry if you thought I was following, just meant to say hello and was trying not to drive like an idiot in the traffic.
Saw a red 430 westbound on I88 in the Aurora area and a yellow 360 in Hinsdale on York Rd yesterday afternoon.
Saw a red Lamborgini Countach, i think it was about a 1989? Saw it in Buffalo Grove today about 11:30am, Corner of Rt. 68 and Arlington Hts Rd. NICE CAR !
Now wait just a minute! Tony's 360 spent a week at Ed's shop, having some repairs made. Tony asked to have it detailed too. Right now it's probably the best it's ever looked!!
Hey Darolls, Unless the repairs were having the 80's striping removed, having the cheesy gold plated wheels removed, and having that spoiler removed, then it was not money well spent. The only repairs he should be doing to that car is bringing it back to stock form. If he wants to macheesmo out a vehicle do it to a car that nobody cares about, oh wait he did (his caddy). lol

on 9-8-07(@8:45 am) spotted red 355 berlinetta on 95th street passing chicago ridge mall, had custom plate that said "PRA*C*NG"-sounded great(maybe tubi muffler????)
grey gallardo spider in schaumburg the other day when it rained, it kind of fitted in actually. it was still realllllllly awesome though
IMO, the Gallardo is a nondescript car outwardly. The lines are very boxy and linear and not that attractive. The only distinctive styling is in the aft. Compare it to a Murci, Diablo and even the Countach.......these cars had style! I've mistaken a number of Gs as being MR2s.
To each his or her own, but I love the Gallardo. Looks and performance. Best of all are those shots of one in the snow. Don't try that with a Ferrari. Spotted Wednesday morning in the Loop: Metallic grey 430 Spider, another trader on his way to work
