Sweet.. now tell him to start posting here! Just make sure he provides photo proof of himself next to his Enzo with todays paper to avoid being labeled a poser by the rest of the Board.
that's a cool picture, did he drive anything cool up, or just his tour bus? (i'm just taking a shot in the dark that he doesn't hitch his enzo to the back of his bus)
Morry's shop is right in front of the 4 seasons and other celeb-popular hotels. Probably just walked over
After seeing him perfom many times I met him in 1992 at Pebble in the bar after the auction where he bought the Alfa 8C. I was in there with my buddy Rick having a beer and he turns to me and says "Do you want to meet Eric Clapton?" I hadn't seen EC there and raised my eyes, set back and stunned. Rick knew the two broker buyers that advise EC on purchases and we went over and connected. For once, I talked very little. Cool guy and very normal, although a bit quiet, then again it was a sad time for him shortly after the loss of Conor. Morry, EC is not very tall
WOW!!!!!! Way cool!! Did you know he was coming or did he just show up announced??? Did you crap your pants?? How cool! Super jealous! Robert
Thanks for the comments. EC has been a client for over 10 years now, and has visited the shop nearly every time he's been in town. It is an honour as these high profile guys have tight schedules, and as far as I know my shop is the only one he went to in the last two days, outside of a restaurant. EC is a true car enthusiast - and as most of you know has a killer collection of F-cars....google away to find them out.
Been to shop - cool place, recommend to all in the area. sad to say that i did not get the playa treatment that EC got, though.
EC has many cars, the one that is quite well known (and public, which is why I am sharing it) was featured in Classic & Car a few months back, his silver 250GT SWB
