Ryan Stiles and Greg Proops, maybe -- a couple of the regulars from both the British and US versions of "Whose Line" -- a show based on comics coming up with improvised witty comments.
Probably most people reading this don't know who these people are, but I sure do. Some real legends in the sport listed there.......
Some locals refer to them as the Clearwater Navy. Why do they have to wear all that white, geez......... For the record, Clearwater is not HQ...just the biggest site. Management is in Los Angeles.
I missed this thread. Some recent ones: - GuyIncognito - Carbon McCoy - Darth550 - Jeff Ward - David Coulthard in Paris, cool dude - Jay Leno, he can suck it like the **** licker he truly is - Will Arnett, another cool dude - Spike Lee I'm sure there will be more soon.
Roger Waters. Just long enough to exchange a few words as he signed an autograph for me. Saw him perform The Wall 5x last year. What an amazing performance.
I used to be friends with Michael Dell. He moved to another neighborhood, while we attended Junior Hi-School. Binyamin Netanyahu - I walked past him, while we were in a restaurant. Pete Rose - Las Vegas. John Connally - football game I spoke with COL George Day USAF Ret (MOH), on the telephone. I spoke with some U2 pilots, who flew over the USSR during the early part of the Cold War. I spoke with Dave (Darth550), on the telephone. Rob Lay. I sat next to him at dinner, while we were at a FCA event .
Just found this thread. Let's see Carrol Shelby Ed Herman (he's done a lot, including Dodge commercials long ago) Cole Hauser Reggie Jackson uh, more, I know.... This doesn't qualify, but was in the same house as Dave Davis Jr and didn't know it until after the party was over. I was so mad. Was a party at Pebble just off 17MD in 2003.
I've met a few celebrities. Here's my little list: Hayden Christiansen at a Ferrari Challenge Event in California (go figure!) Wayne Brady the Las Vegas Airport when he missed his flight at the terminal next to ours. VERY nice guy. Rob Schneider at a San Francisco Giants ballgame. Also very kind. Ran into (literally) Adam Sandler at the Ghiradelli Chocolate factory in S.F. Wayne Newton at the Ferrari dealership in Las Vegas. -G.B.
Odd question.... no I don't miss him. But I do happen to know who he is personally and I'm glad to see one of his threads have such longevity. Jedi
He had more than one post. Posts in other off topic don't count, and his threads were primarily in this section.
Ah! He was mostly banned for being an Other Off Topic troll. There were other reasons as well. He's actually a very cool guy... I know him quite well in" the real world" He just didn't work out at F-Chat I guess. Jedi Posted via Droid
Prince Philip - was introduced to him at a work function. Prince Edward - spent a week working with him in Australia in 1995 and attended the '95 Adelaide GP where he was guest of honour. Got to sit on top of the Ferrari pit !!! Almost had a beer with Bruce Willis - in NY, my wife's colleague says to her "we are having a beer with Bruce Willis" as we bump into them in the hotel bar, she thinks they are joking, they were not. Ralf Schumacher, Felipe Massa. Had lunch with John Smit (SA rugby captain) in Monaco of all places.
