Dear all, I used the search engine and did not find anything about it, so I launch a new thread. One of the fans screams. It does not scream permanently, say half time but it sounds terrific. The fan was unfitted. The diagnosis is the engine inside the box may move from its original position. My question is : does anyone ever changed this fan for a new one ? If so, where did you get it and which ref ? There are in fact three fans on the car, one is related to a/c, the two others, in front of the radiator, shall cool the water. I'm talking about these two last ones. Many thanks in advance. Olivier
The bearings are bad Oliver. The fans are from an old Jaguar and are made by Lucas. Not too hard to find.
Dave, According to your suggestion, we browsed among the web and dust in the workshop and located a old jag xk engin fan that fits perfectly. Thanks a lot. Olivier
