I want to visit the factory of Ferrari. This factory have been visited for people of all the world. Have you visited Ferrari?
Abavai, for most of us, the Ferrari factory is like Mecca... We all want to go... i hope to go within the next year or two... Let us know if you ever go...
I hate to burst your bubble DE....uh....Carbon, but as far as I know, one has to be an owner to go to the Factory. Of course, anybody can go to the Galleria, etc. Of course, I may be completely wrong. If so, somone correct me. Dave
Dave, with all of Des Carbon's current F-Chat contacts, somehow I think he'll get the factory tour when he's ready to go. They'll probably ask him if he wants to take an Enzo around Fiorano!
Pretty sure they allow up to three guests (maybe a couple more if you're a charmer)....as long as one is an owner. Shouldn't be a prob Carbon.
Well, I haven't been into the entire factory. But have been to the Galleria and to the entrance of Fiorano with the team trucks and been in some kind of control/monitoring room with loads of tvs. I went to the factory but it ws night (after the tests at Fiorano were over) and all I could see was the entrance and talk to one friendly woman who said something I couldn't understand... I have pics of it though... a **** load of them! I'll try and post some later 'cause I have to put them in 640*480 I guess... (I've posted some of the engines displayed and the F1 models @ the Galleria).
My grandfather is an internationally know engineer and has contacts within ferrari/lamborghini and could get us into the factories if we liked. Last time I went to Italy(to see San Marino 99 I think) We looked in the museum, awesome, especially as I was pretty young at the time. Didn't get to go to the factory that time.
Yeah, I knew I had seen those pics somewhere before. Ranier Schlegelmilch's book "Ferrari". Dave BTW, I didn'y say it was impossible to get into the factory, just that I had always heard that one had to be an owner and set up the visit through your local dealer. But ,of course, C would have NO problem. I'm not sure why he hasn't asked Luca during one of his weekly conference calls. LOL, DES!!!!!!
