Came on when I started the 308. What should I be looking for? There goes my drive for the day or week.....

What is a fan warning light? Do you mean the lights on the dash? my 328 has two lights on and they come on when you turn the fans on. Did you turn on the fans?

It is the left red light on the dash. I did try to turn it on the last time but nothing happened. Returned it to the off position, still lights up. Might need to test both fans.

Your description of light color and function seems a little odd -- do you mean the upper (orange) warning light on the left (for the heater/ventilation blower fans), or the lower (red) warning light on the left (for the hazard lights)?

It isn't a warning light but an indicator light to let you know the fans are turned on. Heater switch goes Off-Low-High and in Low and High the dash light comes on.

Incidentally, you may wish to update your profile as it doesn't reference your car with year and euro/us etc to enable helping you further.

Do you have the owner's manual? The operation of those lights is described within. Just FYI.

I do have the manual but I guess I been accustomed to lights popping up as warnings.
