Fangio wins again!

Last weekend, the annual convention of the International Plastic Modelers Society was held in Omaha. Of the 2730 total entries in the model contest, at least 100 were cars/trucks/motorcycles, competing in multiple categories. But the one entry the judges picked as Best Automotive was this one, an excellent job on the 1/12 Maserati 250F by Model Factory Hiro, depicting Fangio's winning car in Monaco in 1957. The builder embellished it with a figure of Fangio and a copy of his autobiography, though those made no difference to the judges. He was even wearing a t-shirt with an image of this car on it!
