Does anyone remember how the 348 fans work? There is one fan on the left for a coolant radiatorand it comes on triggered by a temp sensor. There are two fans on the passenger side. The bottom one is an oil cooler and it has a temperature sensor.
I forget what comes next. There is one more fan on the upper passenger side coolant radiator. This one comes on when the A/C is triggered? Does it come on under any conditions if the A/C is not triggered?

Unlike on the 355, the 348 has the fan temp switch sensor on the top right radiator.

Is't this fan the one that triggers with the A/C?

Okay so I looked in my manual and here is what it says:

A thermal contact in the bottom of the right hand radiator switches on the fans automatically when the temperature reaches 185* +/- 35,6*F (85* +/- 2*C) and switches them off when the temperature drops below 169* +/- 35,6*C (76* +/-2*C)

In the diagram the right hand radiator is the little one above the oil cooler, and I think that last temperature reading of "35,6*C" should have been 35.6 deg F. But we all know how well these things are written. I think it was all you can drink grappa for lunch at the cafeteria that day . LOL!

Okay I just looked in my other manual and here is what IT says:

The right hand radiator includes in the top a thermal contact. This automatically switches the electric fans on when the coolant temperature reaches 185 +/-3*F (85* +/-2*C) and switches them off when it falls to 169* +/-3*F (76 +/-2*C)

Seeeeee I told you they were serving up all you can drink grappa. :D
