He,s done it again folks. Fantango promissed a good time and a good time was had, even if the weather did not always cooperate. But did that stop Fantango from taking his "scenic" drives? Course not. And Coach "I" and his wife were the most gracious of hosts. Thanks again coach and congrats on your latest "f-car" aquisition. For those that asked about the event poster, I do have more available. I will discuss pricing with J. David. If interested, send me a pm. Tony and I will also see if we can make a nice long panaramic of all the cars lined up on the lawn. Drive safely everyone and get ready for the next event! Adrian Madison madisonalexander @ bellsouth.net

Too bad I couldn't make it to Coach I's, but there'll always be a next time. The weather in Atlanta stunk; we had a continuing succession of thunderstorms from about 10 AM to 4 PM, with plain rain continuing until about 7. It's hard to complain too much, since we really needed the rain. After the race I tuned to the Weather Channel, and while it didn't appear to be raining in Clemson, it was raining for the entire length of I-85 in Georgia between the state line and here. So I think I made the right choice. And thanks for posting the wonderful photos! P.S. Any chance of an encore at Coach I's for the U.S. G.P.? Just a thought.
Thanks for posting the Pictures Chris, and welcome to FCA! What a great time we all had, and Coach I was terrific. What a Host, and the house, only being there can do it justice. Like Coach, it gives new meaning to living large. There are many people to thank, without the people, volunteers like our Georgia FCA Presdient-Charles, Adrian, Tony, and Coach as well as all the participants, there is nothing to talk about now is there. Special thanks to folks like Buddy, who had never driven his car in the rain, and John, I hope you missed the rain on your return trip! Now for the next adventure... It is great to make new friends, may our paths cross often tomarrow... By the way, we picked up a number of new FCA members. Thank you Bob, Richard, Rick, Bruce, John, Tony Martin and Luca!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that made it out to Coach I's today. It was a blast!! Pictures from today will be up on the FCA-SC website tomorrow!
Had a great time today, enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing all you CAFE/FCA event 'frequenters' again. Dave, as everyone has previously mentioned, you and all your help did a fantastic job organizing the event, and we couldn't have had a better host. Here's a slideshow of some of the pictures throughout Sunday's event...(Just ignore the Bavarian Boxes in the initial pictures) http://s52.photobucket.com/albums/g18/bmwm3n528/Coach%20I%20GTG/?action=view¤t=CoachImeet44.jpg&slideshow=true&interval=3
had a blast...especially the drunken times here are my pics that i can show lol http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v487/AndyThomason/Andy/Asheville%20Weekend%20June%2006/
The shot of downtown Asheville with the mountains in the background? It was taken from the Terrace at the Grove Park Inn.
ohh daniel daniel daniel.......did you enjoy the steam show? I had a great time, and it was good to see everyone. Thanks to Coach for hosting us on sunday. Thanks to David for heading it up. Too bad we had rain on our "scenic" route sunday as the roads were great!
Hey guys and gals: Julie and I had a great time and were honored with your presence at our home. As I told many who were within earshot, this house was built by Buck Fulp, a NART driver...completed in 1965; i bought it in 1985...and have throughly enjoyed living in it and maintaining it, which is a full time job for several people. As some of you may remember, it was built as a one of a kind by Frank Lloyd Wright disciple Albert Browning Parker, a professor emeritus from the university of Miami. He has published books, and some were written about him. I understand that a new book is in the offing with my house featured on the front cover. Not sure when it will be published. The variety of cars and the "family" atmosphere was quite unique for the event. The lining up of the cars in the front lawn and picture taking was awesome. This is what this house was meant to host. Hopefully, we will host a concours there one of these days. Amazingly, and thanks to some help, I was able to get my cars into the garage minutes before it started pouring down again. I also can say now that my Maranello HAS been driven in the rain, up to Lake Lure on Friday and it DIDNT melt or dissolve. Thanks so much for makinbg my birthday weekend such a memorable event. Still trying to find out how to close the deal on the F-40 so I can have it transported here quickly. Can't wait. By the way, I took many pictures with my digital...but the memory stick was not in the camera...what a shame. Chrystelle took a bunch and she will forward them to me, and hopefully post them here. Again many thanks for making this weekend very much fun.
Thanks Daniel. I was curious as to whether that was also shot at CoachI's house. That view and that house would have made an even more amazing combo, if that is even possible. I just finished a design course where we did a portion on F.L. Wright's homes and you can definately see the influence, but also the differences in the house.
well, those of you who attended the gathering at my home, the car I was showing as a model in my garage was delivered in person last night at 7pm. It is absolutely breahttaking, and i have driven it some 15 miles this morning....it is a brute...I had better be careful with it before I attempt anything with it....Julie is taking pictures and we will post soon... What a car!!!!!!!!!
CoachI....it would be a DREEAAAAM for me to ever take pics of your F40 or any of your cars if you ever want any since i am local!!!! I really should have attended the gathering at your place!
