First, Rob has approved this message. The International Fantasy Grand Prix is a Formula 1 fantasy series. Several here have been playing in our league for many years. Participants have to choose 5 drivers, a chassis and an engine while staying within a tight budget, and points are determined by the accomplishments of those components. This year we have decided to offer a 'Second Season' starting at the German Grand Prix. If you're interested in something a bit different than the Tipping league, take a moment to look over the ruleset. We're limiting participation to 20 teams. There's no cost to enter. For more information, please contact me via PM, via email at IFGPF1 (at) gmail.com, or just check out the wiki at http://www.ifgpf1.com/wik/index.php?title=Second_Season_2010. The deadline for entry is Thursday.
Not for the second season, it's just for bragging rights and fun. The full season does offer a nice plaque or trophy.
We don't need no stinkin' prizes It's all about besting the competition!..... Seriously, this is my sophomore season (I was fortunate (skilled! ) enough to become the first ever rookie ifGP champion) and it's a lot of fun - Not so much this year as I'm getting my ass kicked - But it's still fun! Having said that, this will be a very compressed series, so you do need to pay a little attention (1 hour or so per race?) Tillman - As noted on the iFGP boards, please count me in - I'm assuming when you say the entry deadline is Thursday, you mean we've got to have our line-up cards back to you by then? Cheers, Ian
Bump! Ian, yes. Deadline means lineup cards in by Thursday via email, normal Wed deadline applies for the next race.
I promise this is the last time I top this thread. I put together a quick lineup generator so you can play around with budgets. What can you do with $40 M? http://www.ifgpf1.com/tools/quickcash.html If you want to play, figure out your lineup and send it to [email protected] Thanks T
