There are two automated sites which are good. On one site we only need to give input at the start of the season and your team is 'locked'

Another site involves choosing drivers with a set number of points. A drivers point cost is dependent upon how they did the last 5 races. The values at the beginning of the seasons are guesses. This is my favorite.

You can also join groups within their league, so it's easy to check how you are doing within the ferrarichat group.

edit: looks like it hasn't been updated for this year yet.

Haven't heard of anything established yet. The only thing I know for sure was that my suggestion/offer was ridiculed into submission.

J.F.C. - Chill out everyone! I've been working on it for the past two weeks, sorry for not giving you an update.

Jack, can your system provide the following?

    1) Multi-dimensional selections? A little complexity is what makes it fun. Whether this is picking multiple drivers, teams, or include qualifying doesn't matter too much. More complex the better.

    2) New selections each race?

    3) Capacity for 75-150 entrants?

    4) Ability to ensure all selections actually came in before qualifying?

    5) Updating of results in a timely manner (within 24 hours)?

    ---

I really liked gridbids.com, so went to register, 2 weeks later I still can't get my account activated. The owner is a dip **** or there is a language barrier. I've still been trying to work that out until the last second because we're all registered from last year on F1tipping anyway. That's not the best one, but gridbids.com is the only one I've seen better so far.

Rob, it was an offer, and that was it. I was just a little surprised at the enthusiasm with which it was criticized. What made our pool fun was the strategy involved whereby you had to look at the entire season when selecting. Typically, after a race or two, it's evident where the teams and drivers stack up and you end up making mostly the same selections race after race. But I think you made it clear that you wanted this to be your baby all along, so knock yourself out.

Sorry, that's what I do on a daily basis for my day job. I'm good at analyzing quickly what is required and the best way to get it done. Sorry I didn't outline them earlier, but your method doesn't meet all the requirements I want for the FerrariChat.com sponsored contest.

If I wanted it to be my "baby", then I would write the software myself and not use a 3rd party. We've always used a 3rd party. Yahoo first two years and F1tipping last year. I would have no problem using you as a third party if you could meet the requirements. Nothing personal. Your game format does sound fun, nothing is stopping you from still doing it, I'll even join, if you let me. ;)

    Thanks,
    rob
