Okay, here is where you tell me "awsome!" or "take this off, keep this"

And, are Test Pipes the same as an aftermarket exhaust system? What is the sound difference between a Test Pipe system and Tubi LM ehxaust?

Its purely fantasy as of now, however Ive gone into rediculous detail and have speced everything out to be close to $400K. Maybe $370.

Sounds pretty cool but why not get a stradale and go from there? Most of your upgrades would be standard. Also you didn't mention any suspension mods, the rest of the car sounds like a balls to the wall track car so i figured this would follow suit. Another thing to consider is the fact that the sliding window are not DOT legal in the States IIRC so forget about that.
What exactly is this car for track, daily, weekend? You are combing track parts that have no place on the street and street parts that have no place on the street.
One last thing what color are you wanting, black. I think the whole blacked out theme is getting played out, but to each his own.

You don't need the extra expense or weight with a radar detector if you go this route because I consider that you have some big balls and nothing scares you, jail, mental asylum, etc. etc...

Weight is one thing were trying to cut, however, a radar detector is key. But yes, theyre huge.

    As in?

This idea if for a Stradale, or Scuderia. Im sure some of the options are at least close to standard, but for instance there is still material to be removed from a CS, IE, alcantera, radio, AC, sound deadening (if any).

The color is Matte Black - trust me, it hasnt been played out this far yet. Ive seen one car come close but not to this extent.

The car will be for street/track use. My thought is that with a few other quick machines in the garage, this one would only come out at night and at a few track events. The fantasy is that the car will be more myth than anything. She'll be a total beast and I want it to have the same cult following as Europe's "Ghost Rider."

The idea behind having most of the mods at track spec is the appeal.

    ......

The suspension is something I am unfirmiliar with, though the thoght crosses my mind when ever I want ot go through and add anything to the "wish list."

Can anybody give me a product name or brand that would give max suspension performance? I will add it promptly to the spec sheet.

Why not get a 360 challenge car and make it street legal. Then you would have a car designed and engineered for the track but with the ability to drive on the streets at night. I still don't think I understand what you're wanting with the car but, with that front bumper its going to be a nightmare to drive on the road. There's a guy on the m3 forums that had the bumper on his 360 and it got torn clean off.
From what i gather i don't think the car is a good idea. It sounds like maybe a Supra would be more up your alley. I don't mean it in a bad way but it seems you want a car to brag about and create a fan base. I think a 1200 hp Dyno queen would be a better fit. Again its just my humble opinion but the thought of the car as you have listed just does not do it for me.

I think it would be easier to modify some vin#s than to hack up a 360 and add extensive mods to get similar results. I mean challenge cars go for about $95k and just pick up a totaled 360 for around $40k add any expense needed to make it legal and you got the car exactly like he wants for around $160-170k and you could even sell the parts you dont need off the totaled 360 (motor, trans, brakes, interior, etc) and get most of what you invested back.

If I was to spend the amount he is talking about a 430Scuderia would be it.

right? i mean he wants to spend all this money, time and effort to build something that will be equal if not sub-par to a 430s for the same price. i honestly dont get it, for me i would be looking at a f40. maybe a little out of his range but i could sacrifice one of those "other quick machines" to make up the difference. oh well.

I posted the ideas I’ve had now for some time because I feel that as a project idea that involved a Ferrari, this would be the place to get the best feedback and educated input.

Anybody can put a rocket in a bathtub. IE, a 1200 horse power Toyota. There is something about a car that can maintain a track-like demeanor and actually go fast when not in a straight line as well.

Using a Scuderia or Stradale is the idea. The tweaks done to the car are not life altering for it. Simply put, I want the car to have a few more race-car bits on it. Tow-hook for instance, detachable steering wheel, harnessed racing seats, GT2 body work. All in the name of "race car for the road." Not to say that a Scuderia is not a race car, but in a different sense. I ADORE the idea of taking a 430 GT2 car and painting the thing and driving it around - however the practicality is NOT there. Amongst being illegal, trying to find loop holes with the DOT is close to, if not completely impossible. Trust me; I’ve looked heavily into it. For instance, you'd burn out a GT2 clutch in no time if it were driven through a few stop lights and ridden through slow traffic for a while. Not practical - but the idea is what I’m trying to clarify here. Modifications are not for everyone, many people I’ve talked to hate the idea of driving their Ferraris in the rain, let alone painting the thing matte black; it’s all up to preference.

And I prefer a car that scares children and deafens the elderly…

I share the same passion of a race car for the street, hell I'm contemplating having a street legal indy or champ car. One sold not long ago and it was already street legal.
