An Open Letter To all my real friends on this board, for us, this is merely a page turning on a new chapter. For acquaintances, fate will find another way for us to become friends one day. This is an open letter to dismiss myself from this board. No need to ban, flame, or even respond, as I know who the good people of this community are. A very real choice has been made by the powers that be that my contributions to this board (LM002 Registry for example and the start to unraveling the web), is far surpassed by a few bucks from those who continue to be the common denominator of so many hurtful arguments, lies, obfuscation, and poison to the community which keeps the reputation of this great marque in the doldrums of history. The thinly veiled threat by RL was way over the line. I respectfully decline further participation in what has become reminiscent of those who are half or a quarter of our ages (depending). I expect more of my own children, and therefore, I expect more of myself. So, I purge myself of the poison and trust me, will not lose a wink of sleep over it, nor will any of you. I just hope this reaches at least someone with the common sense enough to realize what is happening here, that has not already. Cheers

exactly, problem drama users like Taurean Bull can't help themselves. write a big Dear John and they always come back, usually under an alias just to save some face when they know they were wrong. does Chad broker cars? was his participation here to help his business or hurt the others he competes against like Roy? either way if you go back to the thread in question, Roy posted his "ONE of ONE 1999 Diablo Roadster" for sale. Roy never said anything negative, trolled, or called out Chad. Chad is the one that started it with these posts in Roy's listing thread... Chad then complains about what I posted. I stand by it 100%, there are internet keyboard tough guys like Chad that think they can get away with trolling and attacking others. Again, Chad started it and I was just commenting Roy stayed restrained because if someone did that to you in person you would kick their butt in person. here is email Chad sent me, just proves he was nothing more than a broker dealer leach on FerrariChat trying to get away with paying nothing when people like Roy and Joe are valued paying sponsors. here was my response by email. So Chad is a cheap leach on FerrariChat for 5 years and never sponsoring who goes on the attack against Roy in one of Cat's Exotics sponsored inventory threads and then complains about a little 1 day ban, writes a Dear John, and after 5 years of not sponsoring FerrariChat says he doesn't want to sponsor FerrariChat. I'm speechless to now describe what kind of person Chad is and the way he's behaved from the start, so I will just leave it at that.
There are other forums for Lamborghini WO this crap. But it is true that there more with it than without it.
Yup, when I was shopping for, and had my Murci, I frequented the other forums instead. I tried this here, but the constant sniping drove me away - perhaps the sponsors should keep that in mind. No point in paying good money to sponsor if you are going to drive the readers away.

All I did is relayed an observation regarding the R & T Road Tests for the PRODUCTION versions of the Jarama and Daytona which simply revealed the two cars are comparable in most respects except that the JARAMA beats the Daytona Hands down in braking test!!! DWR who do you think you are to refer to me as a Lunatic? However let me say that I think you are probably the greatest FOOL I have come across on a forum. At least your better than everyone else as far as being a FOOL - and that has to be an accolade you should be proud of! I guess your friend who is writing the history of Lamborghini based on his interpretation of the facts and COLOURED with his many ASSUMPTIONS - will be running to your aid You certainly make a great pair and the Lamborghini world has both of you to thank for perpetuating one of the greatest automotive scandals perpetrated on Lamborghini I would love to meet you person and teach you some social manners!!
Please spell out what you are referring to for those who aren't in the loop. What does DWR stand for? Who is his Lamborghini friend that you feel is a fraud?
When I had my Lambos I spent more time on LP but I would frequent here too. Now that I am back to Ferrari I spend more time here but still frequent there. It's the internet, there is drama and sniping in both places. I figure if you mind your manners you can get along well in both places. Works for me.
I rarely wander into any of the contentious threads. I guess Espadas don't tend to stir up so much trouble ... LOL. But now that they're no longer $30K max for the best one in the world (that was some time ago too ...) perhaps that will all change?
Apples and oranges. To be fair, lets remember that the vintage Ferrari section is overflowing with people who own lots of books on Ferrari, have themselves never owned nor possibly will ever own a Ferrari, and yet insist on telling others what they can and cannot do with their Ferraris. A shouting match over whether rebodied cars should be allowed in the vintage section comes to mind, which I recall was won by the book owners.
