I went to see the new Fast and Furious movie last night, thought it was fantastic and very entertaining and just overall extremely good. Has anybody else seen it and what did YOU think of it?

I fell asleep half way through it the other night. :p:p
(Not because it was boring, it was because I was tired, had a big day)

The cook left me on the couch and she went to bed when the movie finished. ;);)

Will have to watch it again...........one day. :D:D

Yeah, I watched it online. Good quality, a little echoey sound though.

    My thoughts:
    Predictable

I like how they tied in Tokyo Drift in this one, and there is definitely going to be another Fast and Furious.

    More drama/storyline than cars.

I've been a fan of the series since the 1st one in 2001... From the way the 4th one ended I'm sure there will be a 5th and final fast and furious in Europe or something.

Among all, i would say this is the best, even better than the first one back in 2001. I watched it 2 weeks ago, and i think the action, storylike is solid. However, i don't understand why Brian takes a GTR, R34, and IIRC a Supra, but just uses the R34 t/out the movie.

I went to watch the 2nd movie, way back when, it was soo bad the projector decided to break half way in

Best thing that ever happened :D

I liked the 1st one, 2 and 3 were pretty crap. I'll go watch this one eventually (it only got released today here).

    SPOILER

how in the hell are they supposed to get Vin out of the Jail bus with a freaking NSX and the like ? Not to mention all the armed guards in the bus...That was so ridiculous.

Other weak point was the Vin was supposed to be THE hot shot in the street racing community, yet no one recognized him when he shows up to become a driver for that Mexican drug lord...Even when one of them killed his Gf..

I always watch these movies to have a laugh.

i would rank it as my second favorite in the series, behind the first one, but well ahead of the other 2. the plot wasn't very good, but that's not the kind of movie you necessarily go for the plot. overall, pretty good, and it got me looking forward to the fifth one (vin diesel and paul walker have already said they're coming back)

I found it quite entertaining. Some of you expect too much from pop movies.

You've never commuted in a New England winter. ;)

(Seven inches of snow, increasing. Even the plows had given up on the roads. Instant special stage. ;) Yee hah! :D)
(Even in the version without the unlocking cdiff for handbrake turns.)

Hey! *That's* what they ought to do for the next film: Too Fast, Too Muddy! :D

(Nah: the films are probably sponsored by tire companies for all the tires that drifting burns up.)
(Besides: the USDM production model won't stand up to a side impact the way the rallye frame will.)

I went to see it the other day, I thought the movie itself wasn't that bad, as far as entertaining and action goes. I was disappointed there weren't many good quotes like from the first one, such as:

    "I need NOS."
    "Motec system exhaust"

Scenes like floorboards falling out of Eclipses when the laptop says Danger To Manifold, spinning FWD Eclipse in parking lot, Supra having a hard time keeping up with 2 stroke dirtbikes, etc.

    The list goes on.

Ask any racer, any real racer. It don’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning’s winning.

Nice car. How much is the retail on one of those? More than you can afford buddy; Ferrari. Smoke him.
