I looked in town at the Mazda dealership for a Miata but no one would help me I think because I was in an 81 RX7. Went online & found a dealership <200mi that had 12 on lot. Called Tom Bush in Jax & Jim Swan found me just what I was looking for in 2 days. Went down that weekend & paid cash for a perfect Miata. Every time I go for 3k oil change at the Masda dealership & they try to sell me a new car I remind them that attitude is everything. What was your fastest deal?

About two hours on a Chevy 1/2 ton work truck from the time I read the ad, traveled to the dealer, and wrote the check, including all paperwork. At the end the sales manager said it was the quickest deal they had ever done. I dont know if he was stroking me or if it was fact. On the other hand my Formula Mazda deal took over a year.

Bought an 02 Carrera Cab in about 30 minutes.

No joke, got it at FCI. Walked in, test drove the car, liked it, remembered the meeting I was going to, and my dad bought it and we drove it to my meeting thing... but yeah about 30 minutes.

From 350 miles away, I called my good pal Paul and he had a new car read for my wife in 18 hours. Did the necessary paperwork on Tire Rack's fax. They rock over there at Tire Rack.

I just did a pretty quick deal.

An Esprit popped up on E-bay and was within 5 hours of me. I e-mailed the guy asking if he might be interested in a trade for a 69 corvette I haven't used in years.

He said, send some pics... I did... he called and we set up a day to do the trade. Should pick it up on monday.

    Overall about 2 hours.

I bought and sold an original 95 twin turbo Supra in 22 hours.

As far as brokering I helped a customer get rid of his 360 in less then 3 hours. He had called me to see if I was interested or anyone else was, I told him I'd see what I could do, about 30 minutes later an F355 customer of mine called me to tell me he was ready to upgrade to a 360. I made a few phone calls and about 2 hours later we had a deposit and had scheduled payment and delivery. It was pretty neat.

    Forza,
    Kevin

Purchased an 04 Expedition basically online.
Wanted it just a certain way, color etc..
Every time i went to the dealer they could not find one usually because thier in house system was down. This was the case at a few dealers.
So i went online...found my Expy 30 miles away and made a deal on the phone.

I bought my sister a Jetta as soon as I walked into the dealership for her graduation present. They had the color there, signed the papers and drove it out. Took 24 hours prep time for the 850 I bought my mother for Christmas

Probably my 98 Mustang Gt Convertible. The salesman had us stang behind the car, he started it up and it was pretty much sold. Let us take if for a test drive, we got back and bought it. Had no intentions of buying a car that day either. lol It was my 15th birthday.

I went to a large dealers with a friend to look at a 355 he was interested in.
The car was gone but in the corner was the most perfect 308GTB i'd ever seen. 1977 13,000 miles. It was like new.

Gregor Foitek, the ex F1 driver was there and he offered to take me out in it. In my head I'd bought the car after the first 2 corners. In reality it took a good 10 minutes to finalise the paper work :) The most amazing drive on public roads I've ever experienced.

    LOL

My quickest purchase is my current 996 Turbo S. I got a call from the service manager while I was sitting in Starbucks about a guy seriously intersted in buying my '03 Turbo. I haven't planned on selling it but the offer was too good to pass-up. After I made sure that he was serious, I accept his offer. Two minutes later the Porsche dealer manager walks into Starbucks, I tell him about my "new found buying power", he whips up his phone, calls the showroom to get the price on beautiful Arctic Silver '05 Turbo S coupe that they had just received. Wasn't too bad so I accepted. It took all of 20 minutes to negotiate the sale and purchase.

The wife, on being informed, just shock her head and prounnced me certifiable.:)
