Hi guys, just a quick update, yesterday after the latest batch of tests and x-rays the doctors told us that the bones in Collettes hip area are starting to knit back together in the right position, so it looks as though they can operate and use pins to mend the area, which means that she should regain full mobility in the future, wich is really good news for us, will let you know more when we know.

Great news Stephen, along with the others I wish to say best wishes in both of your recoveries,I also agree do not blame yourself for this tragedy the other driver sealed his own fate by drinking and driving no ifs are or buts are involved.Put it like this if you had not gone the scenic route someone else might have and the consequences would have been the same, the only way this accident could have been avoided is if the other driver had not got in his car.
    Best wishes
    Dave Mc
