I don't know if any F Chat members will be at Chip's wake tonight but if there are I will be happy to meet you. I can't explain the toxic comments about the oui from the poster onebrain however if you do show up please be respectful of the family. Two people are dead and 2 families forever changed. Keep that in mind when you are at the keyboard please. Regardless of the drivers past history the families deserve this time to mourn...
    We can't change what happened.

I reported the posts earlier today, but either the mods are off for the weekend or the posts don't qualify for removal.

Thought I would bring this to closure... I attended the wake for Chip Friday night. There were hundreds of people there. 2 plus hour wait time. He was cremated and I learned he has a sister also. There were various conversations going on at the funeral home and one in particular caught my ear. One woman could not understand why a 51 year old man, the driver, would be in a red Ferrari of all cars. Must have been a mid life crisis she said. Shameful it was. The friend whom I attended the wake with was part of this conversation and pointed to me and said... That's my friend Steve and he has 2 red Ferraris. What's the difference what he drove she said... The other woman looked at me rather sheepishly and said and I quote... "Slow down, those things can kill you". in a whispered voice.
