    I’ve enjoyed my little runs. Across highway from plantation a levee and then Lake Lee. Horses and cows graizing on the levee and waterfowl in the lake. The manager about has our breakfast ready for us, 3 other couples stayed here last night.

    How is the overall experience of driving the 328 such a distance? It was one of my teenage dream cars. But I have never driven one. What does your passenger think, compared to her experience of today's cars?

    Presumably the car gets a lot of attention and all of it (unlike a modern Ferrari) positive?

    This must be one of the best threads on this board - feel like I'm there. Though I've not been to Arkansas..am I right there are some good twisty roads in hill country there? Are the cops super strict?

    328 is a great highway car, no cruise, but it tracks nice easy to drive 80 mph although that's when the road noise really kicks in. The AC is great until direct sunlight and about 80 degrees and then can't keep you, you have to roll down the windows. Mia and Jennie have both been fine in the passenger seat 1,000+ mile trips. You have room to store bags front with tire and then the rear.

    Has been 100% positive, I've had probably 6 honks and thumbs up plus about a dozen coming up to talk gas stations and restaurants. Everyone has been really nice although we've spent a bunch of time in the poorest parts of the country and some of the higher crime areas like New Orleans and Mississippi.

    Arkansas has about the best roads in the country for our cars, especially considering how good of condition, hundreds and hundreds of miles (not like a 20 mile dragon run), little traffic, and no issues with law enforcement. I preached it for 10+ years Jennie and I did Crescent Classic, but no one would listen. :)

    Seeing the high rise buildings in the background on some of these New Orleans pictures looks surreal. One of the places on my bucket list to see.

    Hi Rob have a good trip, watching thread
    from Spain. Looking at this thread it reminds me of a trip with a 328 GTS from Madrid to the east coast of Spain. Same feeling, same pleasure.
