Anyone who tried to get into OBI last year for Father's Day may remember that the cops closed the entrance after 9Am. Cars were parked on Ocean Highway almost to the Causeway. The place became insane with automobiles. There were probably 700 cars either inside, outside or turned away which is a typical number for a large turnout at Captree during the off months. The inside lot will probably be filled by 8AM. Its going to be an early morning

Is the setup at OBI or Captree. I am planning to go and thought it was at Captree tomorrow

From about Memorial day to after labor day the group meets at OBI about 2 miles to the west s/s of the highway. Captree during the summer is taken over by fisherman and a $6.00 parking fee.

Fantastic morning not sure we made 700 cars but there were probably close to that number of cars today. Numerous newer Ferraris 355s, 360s, 430s, a 599 and the red Enzo which has recently changed hands were present. Older F cars included a mint Dino and my 308. Numerous other European makes were also there in good numbers(Lambos, P cars, various English marks, BMWs and MBs, etc.; sort of the forest and the tree routine). I arrived by 7:45Am and wound up parking along the Ocean Parkway the inside lot was full. Welcome to Bobby, the new owner of the red Enzo. The former owner and the owner of the 599 is looking for another Enzo or something similar.
