My daughter painted this lovely surprise. It is not a Dino, but I just had to share it with my fellow Dino friends. She recently started a new Japanese ink technique, but does not allow for any errors, as it can only be diluted. Hope you enjoy it! Regards, Alberto Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you Freeman, I told her of your talents and she is truly flattered. Of course, she is really taken back by ALL the kind comments. It is signed, not in the photo, somehow got cropped off, it is in Japanese. Where should she date it? She is quite strong headed on her art, and might be confused about this point. Regards, Alberto
You can write it discreetly in the corner of the back in pencil. Photos of her with the sketch as well as the two of you together will create a great memory when she becomes famous! That way, when she is older, it will document this great achievement! A huge accomplishment for her! Freeman
Hello, I am Arianna, Alberto's daughter. I am extremely thankful for your lovely comments. I think I will paint a dino next, any suggestions? Thank you all. Kind regards, Arianna
Hi Arianna! Welcome to the forum and congratulations on creating a beautiful piece of art! The medium you are using is wonderful and challenging! The best advice is to draw and paint as much as you can. Don’t worry about making mistakes. In art, there are no mistakes! Learn by doing and take any classes you can. Also digital art on an iPad is fun. I use Procreate which works just like sketching and painting but you can do layers and “fix” what you don’t like! You can also do traditional sketching/painting and then bring it into Procreate. Freeman
Hello Arianna. All well with you? Yes, a Dino next, please!! Maybe you could then have some prints made: I am sure there would be buyers - several from here for starters. Here are a few photos to give you some ideas: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello Freeman, Thank you for the comment and giving some advise. You are correct it's okay making mistake as an artists. First time painting a car to be honest not easy with with the wheel. It is challenging using this new ink that I bought and first time using. It's called iroshizuku, they're from Japan. Once using many times and practice with those ink. I'll get use to them. Also I have never heard procreate but I'll take a look at it and maybe give it a try. Thank you. Arianna
What a perfect Father's Day gift for a Ferrari enthusiast! You must be very proud of your daughter, Alberto.
Indeed I am. But what really flatters us, is the lovely responses from you guys, about her thought for her Dad Thank you all for encouraging her, it really made her day! Regards, Alberto
Arianna, Making mistakes Is the hub of creativity! So many discoveries have been unexpected through a simple mistake. Every creative person experiences mistakes every day! I discovered Procreate last year. I love painting and drawing with pencils, markers, paints etc. Procreate On your iPad allows you to paint and draw nowhere with multiple mediums! Really easy to learn and it’s addictive! I use an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. The more you draw and paint, the better you will get! https://procreate.art/ipad Freeman
