    The European Aviation Safety Agency proposed a new Flight Time Limitation Regulation for Europe, which will allow excessive standby periods and allow pilots to operate aircraft even after being awake for more than 22 hours.

    The European Cockpit Association has launched a site where a petition can be signed. Please help us to stop the European aviation from becoming unsafe......

    How do they know how long you were awake?

    They should be more worried about guys like the guy with no license (and no copilot) who ran out of gas in a Lear 24 the other day....
