    Hello,

I got after a long drive with my 348 (1994) a check engine light and the engine gave a hick-up. I would like to read the code. Can somebody give me a step-by-step how to get the code out of the vehicle? I am pretty new in the ferrari-world.

I heard there is a test-wire, but how to and where to install?

    Thanks

    Jasper

You can get your codes directly via the ECU's by using the button on the ECU. The dash 1/4 and 5/8 lights will flash and pause to give you the codes. The procedure is listed here in many threads. If I find it I will post, try searching.

Save this url..you will need it in the future: http://www.my348.com/348.html

You will find the procedure there.

My prediction is code 1211 crank sensor.

Had a similar problem but only after at least one hour of driving. Now have the famed KIA sensors and no issues.

P.S. Remember the engine must be running when you read the codes.
