430 Favor to ask of any scud owner....

I'm installing grey dual stripes tonight (vinyl reproduction). I just feel like the stripes are too iconic to be omitted on this car! Can someone measure the distance between the two stripes for me (edge to edge) so I can make sure to install them with the proper spacing? Thanks in advance!

 

Dominick Thanks so much! I'm actually looking for the "gap" between the two stripes. I've read on the forum that at the hood emblem the gap (i.e., the painted space between the two stripes) is 2.5" but at the back of the hood and elsewhere it is 3.5" (but all the pics online seem to show the gap pretty even and the inner lines parallel. Just want to get it right!

 

Alright, just confirmed with @flash32 who as always is supremely generous with his time. In fact the inner lines are not parallel! At the hood emblem the gap is 2.5" on the nose (pun intended), at the hood at the base of the windshield its 3 3/8" (so, effectively 3.5 inches), and at the roof and tail it is 3 5/8" (so again, basically 3.5"). Weird spacing from the factory but that's what it is as others have reported as well! Will post up pics later!
