    Well as most of you know I'm a child of the '70s and have so many great memorys from those days, so I had a thought (I promise this is my one and only of the day) that it would be kinda nice too share our memorys in music videos of that golden era, are you with me??

    This video is from one of ABBA's last live performances but the song is from the '70s. I can almost remember as if it was yesterday rollerskating in the 4th and 5th grade with one of the hottest highschool girls ever too this song, good times.

    How about these? Man the '70's were such a carefree time for me with so many new experiences and good times. I cannot explain why I was so into this type of music but for me now they mean more than they ever did. I wish I could find a website that keeps track of any or all '70's groups incase there may be a reunion show at some small intimate venue.

    I missed a concert earlier this year which I am regretting BIGTIME now of an ABBA coverband but one of the original female members was on tour with them so I assume it was a very good coverband and show.

    I have 2 faves.... "Brandy" by looking glass - from when I was in 6th grade. LOVED that song.
    The other would have to be "Ma Belle Amie" by Tee Set (granted, 1969, but didn't hit
    the USA until 1970 when I was 9)

    Uh..... no. Mason Williams did "Classical Gas". That's a cover, and a poor one at best.

    Mason Williams released the song in 1968, not in the 70s.

    Oh come on brother there is no need to get offended or defensive, my intent for this thread is to share the old school stuff that alot of us all grewup listening too. I saw you have been a forum since about '03 right so I figured you are probably around my age or older and if so I'm certain you have so great songs we have not though of yet :).

    How about some Blondie! I remember watching this show live and entranced but does anyone else remember the performance on tv were she turned away from the crowd yet for the camera and raised her skirt up exposing "the glory of her full moon", it was cutting edge and spectacular.
