I like the wrapper to be sweet so I almost always get the Kuba Kuba by Drew Estate. I also love the Kaluah cigars. If I dont smoke a flavored cigar, I usually get the Montecristo white
I tried an Opus X last night... good smoke but i wasnt hugely impressed. i mean it was one of the better cigars ive tried but i must say its not really worth the price to me. i still prefer the sungrown chateau. anyone have any new favorites?
Opus X. Padron 1926 or 1964, any edtion. Diamond Crown Maximus RP Decade Petite Edmundo(cuban) Partagas serie D(cuban) Romeo & Julieta Short Churchill(cuban) Romeo & Julieta Museum Edition These are some of the finest cigars I've smoked.
just remembered this thread... figured i would make another entry! my most recent favorite has been the Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 silver edition. a very enjoyable smoke all the way through!
Just got a second box of Habano Toros. Right now I'm smoking a 1932 that I have been nursing for 2+ hours.
excellent choice! when i first heard of them they were described to me as "a mouth full of dirt in the best way possible" i dont think i could put it any better!
I've noticed a leather taste too. They aren't as complex as some but I find them very enjoyable. Lately I have found the new boxes packaged differently. I haven't had any from a new box yet, I hope they didn't change the cigars.
Definitely. Have 3 in my humidor now. Regular 1926 and 1964 are both tiptops. Opus X, Rocky Patel Decade, Diamond Crown, Cohiba Siglo VI, Zino Platinum Crown Series and Montecristo White are all worthy-mentions in my book.
Just got a new humidor today and need to fill it up, looking to spend about $100-$150 on about 10-15 cigars, suggestions?
I would say a Gurkha sampler. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=SP-GHASST19-2&cat=19&page= Darth will probably say a Padilla sampler. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=SP-GHASST19-2&cat=19&page= Can't go wrong with either.
