My personal faves in no particular order: Verde ithaca Balloon (pearl) white Celste phoebe (that pale pastel blue that everyone else hates) Verde piccus (that pale pastel green that everyone else hates) I always think it's really hard to coordinate a nice interior colour scheme with the loud exterior colours. I absolutely love the interior of the nero edition car posted by tgood above
There's a UK G Spider in balloon white with a similar interior to that - it was for sale here: http://www.winchestercars.co.uk/stock.php?catid=3&catname1=LAMBORGHINI&cat11=catg (no affiliation) but is now sold but you can still see it on their website. I also think I saw this very car one day. Certainly it was one very similar and although I was about 100 miles away from the location of the dealer, I'd say given the rarity of the car and the colour scheme, it probably wasn't a coincidence. Unfortunately I only had my uber-crappy camera phone on me, so didn't take any pics.
Probably a fairly common colour combination but still rather nice. Picture taken at Dick Lovett Swindon (UK Ferrari & Maserati Dealer) this week Please note the lovely British summer weather Image Unavailable, Please Login
I chose Grigio Altaire (Silver). Why? - Understated. I love exotics but I honestly don't like colors that scream "hey, look at me" - Silver matches the stock rims and alot of the interior fittings (e.g., door handles, vent rings). - Metallic colors have 2 hues depending on light. With silver, at night/dusk, it appears more gunmetal/greyish. During broad daylight, it appears white. Kinda like that chameleon effect - Less time washing the car . Also dings and surface abrasions arent as pronounced with light metallic colours - Silver (and metallic colours) also highlight the curves/lines of the car. With black for instance, the colour just obfuscates all those beautiful angles and lines. - Too many lambos now in all the crazy extrovert colours. Wanted something a bit different - Avoid a fad: If you look at color schemes over the years, preferences (like fashion) move in cycles. No one would touch orange 3 years ago (I know this b/c my dealer told me he had to discount them as well as the RVs). Now it's second only to yellow. My own view only, but I think the whole pimp-my-ride extroversion sentiment now will wane and in 5 years, there will be a glut of yellow, green and God-knows-what... and a shortage of more classic colours. I think by choosing something more "timeless" I'm preserving my RV. - Lambo target demographic (notwithstanding the celebs) is age 40-55 . I think unless you really are 18, the whole outrageous/extrovert colours screams last gasp of youth and possible attention whore. Love all the colours by the way. Just trying to peel the onion a few layers and perhaps be a bit provocative. No offence intended to anyone. They're all beautiful and each to his own. Oh yeah, there's another beautiful metallic colour only available on the Murcie. It's more of a goldish-platinum colour. I'd definitely have chosen that if it weren't a 10k extra.
I would take pearl white with red interior, and black rims(with chome rings),or dark grey with orange seats it's look amazing!! 70% of gallardo's that I saw were Yellow, other 30% were orange. be diferent.
My fav is mike's new pearl orange Gallardo. I really love that color!!! http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/6003/6e1d2a2f40463874013b64egl1.jpg http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/2366/6e1d470940463874013b64ehf2.jpg http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/9805/6e1d6db340463874013b64enw2.jpg FM
