Which is your favorite,?????......... I really like the 777-300 and the A340-600... For executive ill take the Citiation X
The Connie is my favorite commercial. Followed by the 747-400 and Concorde. Favorite executive jet would probably be a black Gulfstream. Similar to the one in the picture, but a flat black finish and no chrome trim. ALL black. Although the cockpit would have red lighting. http://img164.imageshack.us/img164/4023/1169935850kh0.jpg
Good choice, the original pocket rocket as it is called, few private jets can match its climbing rate and sound.
For commercial aircraft I like the 707- 777-200LR, 747sp, 757-200, 767-200, Concorde, DC10, MD11. For executive aircraft I like the Piaggio Avanti 180, Cessna Citation X, Cessna Citation Mustang. For a private aircraft Citation X - speed is its' own reward For commercial...... If it's not Boeing, I'm not going.....
I just want a Piper Comanche 250... I already have the hanger for it! I would love a little Maverick Jet though! They are SOOO cute and you could actually USE them on a regular basis and not feel to bad about fuel burn for just a quick trip... James
They already have a couple. 5 777-300 and 4 777-200LR. Plus 2 more 777-200LR on order, and 7 more 777-300. Aeromexico had the best 777 livery, too bad they changed it to boring eurowhite.
My friend took an AC 777-300 from Toronto to Tokyo-Narita a couple times. He didn't care about the turbine specs, but I was jealous.
I know.... I really dont like that scheme on the AMX fleet.... When the first 777 arrived looked so shiny.... I think AMX will get one more 777 EX-VARIG...
As an airliner I always liked flying on the MD-11, at least when they were new. I regularly fly on the A340-500 between LAX-BKK and the ECS noise is bad, even in Zone 1 in Royal Silk. For a corporate a Boeing Business Jet BBJ1 with 7 tanks. Real comfort and operating numbers close enough to the G-V/Globals. Jeff Kennedy
I'm amazed at those that like these buses. Quick buses, but still buses. I like small planes, that are quick and agile. If I could, I'd own a two seat Su37, if the regs would let me fly it where I wanted to go, rather than only license it for exhibition. Art
Well the topic was "Commercial and Executive aircraft" I can't see Sumner Redstone cruising in a Su37 on his way to heathrow.
G17S Beech P&W 450 Real money pulls BAC-Sud Concorde out of mothballs and puts it into service. I like the SU37 idea. Tandem SR71 would work too, but mixing fuel could be spendy. Lear 24 with Garrett 731's would be nice. The old 25D we used hard and often was a great plane. BBJ's are a glorified 737. Maybe a nice Turbofan retrofitted DC8-71. A Caravelle would have some class if you need something obscure. Harsh, but funny.
I haven't flown in enough bizz zjets to have a valid opinion........so I won't offer one. But for commercial aircraft I like the 757......man can they climb out !!! UAL runs them from DEN-IAD...... I also like the EMB-190.
