What's everyone's favorite F1 race? I personally lean towards Monaco (even though I find it ineffective as a race). With all the threads out there with the uselessness of the recent Monaco races am in the minority. Opinions anyone?

Monza. Ferrari's first win in years with MS driving. Been to Monaco, is as boring in person as on TV. At least there was Le Texan.

Monaco is great because it's Monaco.
Montreal, because it's great to go there.
Spa, because it's the best circuit.

I saw an onboard of the Eau Rouge, it gave me shivers. I can't wait to see it finally this season.

Spa - we've been there many times. Pouhon is a great place to watch it.

I guess the answer depends on how you look at it:

    Best racing action:
    Any track where it rains.
So Spa and Monaco have a good chance for wet races

    Best track layout:
Spa and the new Spa, Istanbul

Best track as spectator on site:
Any track with a city nearby, so:
    Monaco, Montreal, Melbourne, Indy

PS: I'm surprised by the many Monza statements. Obviously this is a Ferrari site, but I just don't see what is special about Monza (apart from being Italian and one of the original tracks): The layout wasn't that great to begin with lacking elevation changes and the modern version has been butchered by chicanes.

Spa has to be the best track left on the circuit. So many of the original tracks have been ruined by chicanes or just are not able to be used anymore. I have a soft spot for Monza since I was there in 1995. The atmosphere is special with the fans and the history. There are also tracks that will never have an F-1 race, but I would love to see have one. Road America always comes to mind. I always loved driving that track and it offered a little of everything a track should have.

Those were the days. Modern Monza has 3 chicanes too many. Worst being the one after s/f.

Since you brought up these great old pictures: The ultimate F1 track of all times IMHO is the Nordschleife of the Nuerburgring.

Spa, without question, though Suzuka ranks up there.

Frankly, a better question would be what is your least favorite F1 circuit?

+1 love this track, followed by Suzuka. Haven't been following F1 long enough to comment on others.
