I just got a Touch a couple of days ago & I'm really surprise with myself I've gone so long without one. I'm still searching through various applications but would like to know if there are any favorites of members here. Also there was a thread about a F1 app but I cannot seem to find it.

So far I've only added Ferrari GT, Facebook, Vector Tank, & Atomic Fart (yes, I know...)

The app called "Shazzam!" Just point at any song playing and in 10 seconds it will tell
you everything about the song, the artist, and the CD. You can even
SING a song and better than 50% of the time get it right! Amazing
what's going on at that server somewhere where the 10 second sample
    is sent...

    Shazzam is amazing.

    Here's my favorites:

    Pandora (for streaming music)
Darkroom: It lets you take "jitter free" pictures
Translator: This is amazing too. It translates from one language to another with astonishing accuracy. It even rewrites into Chinese or Japanese characters.
Flashlight: Super simple. It just turns your display bright white. So, if you're ever in the dark, just use the Iphone to get you out.
Google: if you have not used the speak recognition, it's like science fiction. Just talk into the phone and google then looks it up for you hands free.
    Google earth
Voice box dialer: Instead of touching your phone to dial a person, just say it into the phone and it starts to dial the number
Big Key Mail: If you like to use two hands and your thumb to type (like Blackberry), then this lets you do that in the horizontal mode with bigger keys.
Handy level: Perfect if you're hanging a picture or need an instant bubble level.
Weather Channel: Great if you travel a lot. Get updates, movies, even see radar in real time of almost anywhere instantly.

COMING SOON: Slingbox for the Iphone. Watch your own TV anywhere you can get 3G service. Record, pause, play, change channels, etc... just like you were home. It's supposed to be out any time now.

I prefer Midomi to Shazam... but both are good. Also, I'm a freak for iShoot. Basically a port of the old scorched earth game.

I played with a friends ipod touch this weekend and really liked it. I dont think ill replace my e71 with an iphone but ordered an ipod touch to play with. I played distant shores, it was kind of neat to chat with random people and i found the surf relaxing.

I dont have a touch or Iphone, I'm looking into a 16gb touch, and saw Flight Control. Seems like a really fun game.

Well, it's no simulation, I highly doubt that air traffic controllers draw lines with their fingers and direct the plane that way :D
