    930,
The first, raw, great race history, the real deal not falling to much into the safety world and every body could drive one crowd, like the newer Turbos. Iconic. My favorite of the three. The car looks like it was made for homlagation rules for racing and they just kept making them for the street, so it is easy to see the racing heritage in them. The flares were thought out in a evening. Very spicy! You will remember owning , driven this car.
993 looks the best and is my least favorite of the three for a lasting impression, but I do like the way it looks. Obviously a team of people worked on what would be pleasing to the eye. it was engineered to appeal to the broadest market, much easier to live with on a daily basis. Like eating at a good chain restaurant.
I do not know enough about 964 turbo to make an opinion, but I guess that says something, I really do not care about them enough to find out more. But looks good.

I had the pleasure of driving a 993 Twin Turbo modified to RUF Turbo R specs from our sponsor RAC Performance for an afternoon.

I can honestly tell you that it was the fastest, quickest car I have ever driven.

I can also report that I was very seriously considering buying one of the new 1975/1976 Turbos when they came out - but my dealer took delivery of the first one they got and let me drive it. It was, quite frankly, almost undriveable by ordinary standards because of the extreme turbo lag coupled with the wide ratio 4 speed transmission. Fast for its day when the turbo boost was up, but remember that an unblown 993 of today is faster. I changed my mind and got a 1975 911S Targa.

These cars got better with every new version, and I think that the 993TT is obviously the best.

I've driven a late 80's Turbo, the 964 "Turbo 3.6" and a 993 Turbo. The 993 Turbo is the most liveable and has a lighter clutch and shifting it is like having a knife into butter. The single turbo cars are more scarier to drive since they are RWD and the most enjoyable one to me is the Turbo 3.6 and thats why I got one.

Its the rarest of them all, they made "1,407" Turbo 3.6 including the Flatnose and Turbo 3.6 S"
