I can't wait!!! If you see a Tahoe with a ton of bikes on the back preceded by a Mondial with about 10 pounds of tape on the front end that's us. I worked too hard on that paint to get chips in all that construction on the way up! Glad to hear Carsleuth and Andreas - our semi-pro photographers are going to be there. I'd sure like a picture of my Mondial loaded with the wife and kids during Saturday track touring if anyone snaps one. Please stop by and say hello, as I'm always eager to meet a fellow F-Chatter. I'll be with the '86 Mondial 3.2 cab in the Concours on Thursday, and we'll probably stake a spot at corner 8 on Saturday. I hope everyone has a safe trip up and wow are we all in for a great time!!!

Sucks that we aren't getting to the osthoff till Friday, I'm so bummed about missing the concours. Really looking forward to Saturday at RA though!

 

How do they handle the concours if it is raining? Looks like 50% chance of rain for Thursday all day.

 

Possible rain Saturday as well. Not good!

 

Yep, I was there with my umbrella. Lots of really nice Ferraris on display.

 

People please keep your cars in the osthoff parking lot. I'll be there tomorrow to drool! Silver Dino and Black 328 from Andreas pictures looked awesome. The Grey 250 Coupe and the Blue 500 Mondial weren't too shabby either!

 

Is it posible to come on Sunday August 2?

We need to hook up so you can certify me to F-chat as a real owner. We were only a few cars away but never met at the concours; Prugna/crema 308 GTS QV, license plate Prugna 1.

Spotted the following leaving the city and headed to my folks in Northbrook: Red 355 Spider, Red 348Spider and Yellow E-type Convertible. Black R8 next to us whole way down dundee. A good warm up for the weekend. Leaving now for the Osthoff!

 

This event is so layed back compared to Pebble Beach and the Historics. Not as many cars, but the people are great to talk to. More Ferrari experts come to this event than are ever at Pebble Beach!!The weather kind of reminded me of Monterey in the morning!

That 500 Mondial was very fine!

Thanks for doing the Owner confirmation in the parking lot at the Harley Museum.

Had a great ride and drive to the Harley Museum today. I am not certain at all what the route would look like on a map but everyone seemed to enjoy the drive. There are some nice roads around the area.

Hey!! I know the owner of the car with all the tape!! Didn't realize it till I looked closely. Surprised he left the headlights untaped.

That car used to be around 700 or so HP until they "detuned" it as I recall.
